Dciman Error Fix

Cannot Find DCIMAN.DLL

If you are receiving the error that DCIMAN.DLL could not be found, then you will need to install it. When you install QuickTime for Windows, it installs a file to the Windows\System named TSENG.QTC. All you need to do is copy the file TSENG.QTC to a new file called DCIMAN.DLL.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COPYING THE DCIMAN.DLL FILE

Windows 3.1/3.11

Select MS-DOS PROMPT from the Main Group in Windows. Then type C: (enter).

cd\windows\system (enter).

copy tseng.qtc dciman.dll (enter).

Windows 95

Click the Start button, then go to Programs, and select MSDOS PROMPT.

Now type C:

cd\windows\system (enter).

copy tseng.qtc dciman.dll (enter).

If you see a message one file(s) copied, this should eliminate the DCIMAN.DLL error message. Type Exit and press enter to return to Windows.
