How Would You Survive (HWYS) uses QuickTime for Windows version 2.03 which is not the latest version of QuickTime available. If HWYS came with the 1996 Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia it is recommended to install HWYS first and then the Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia afterwards because the Encyclopedia CD uses a later version of Quicktime for Windows. When you choose to install the 1996 Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia you should choose to delete all earlier versions of QuickTime that are found on your system including the version that comes with HWYS.
HWYS requires 8 Mb of RAM to be present in the computer you are attempting to operate it on. HWYS ordinarily will not run on machines with 4 Mb of RAM.
